Today, the MVO Platform, as well as 157 other civil society organisations, says no to the Omnibus package. A broad range of stakeholders who have worked for decades in the protection of human rights and the environment, publish a joint statement to the European Commission reacting on the roundtable consultation on ‘simplification’, which takes place today and tomorrow (on the 5th and 6th of February 2025). The main request is to not create further confusion and uncertainty through re-opening agreed legislative texts, meaning the Omnibus initiative.
