Clara Bovens is policy advisor for the MVO Platform, a coalition of civil society organisations and trade unions which advocates corporate accountability in the Netherlands.
Previously, Clara was a consultant for Impact House, helping companies set, measure and report sustainability ambitions in line with the CSRD, EU Taxonomy and CSDDD.
Clara holds a research master’s in Public Administration and Organisational Science at Utrecht University and for her thesis she researched the European Textile Strategy and how sustainable and fair textiles got on the European Commission’s agenda. Before that, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) from the University of Amsterdam.
