The single Market Act adopted by the European Commission states (p.15) that the commission will present a legislative proposal on transparency of the social and environmental information provided by companies (and confirms the adoption of a CSR Communication).
See below the announcement of the EU that the Commission will present a legislative proposal on transparency of the social and environmental information provided by companies. This is one of the core-demands of ECCJ. Of course, the content still needs to be decided, but this can be seen as a major success, as 2 years ago the Commission would not even consider legislation on this issue.
